About the owner and bakery Team:

When the right opportunity presented itself, owner Carrie Chesto decided it was time to pursue her dream of opening her own bakery. At the time, she was the Pastry Chef for Tom Colicchio's CraftSteak and had more than 15 years of experience as a baker and pastry chef. It was a difficult decision to leave, but an opportunity like this only comes around once in a lifetime.  Carrie has always wanted to own a family friendly neighborhood bakery where local residence and visitors could stop by and experience Las Vegas Strip level desserts and pastries. 


Sugar Bee's also has a very skilled and professional bakery team. All the bakers have been with the bakery for at least a year and have either completed culinary school, have several years of baking experience or both. Our team is dedicated to providing the best baked goods you have experience or as our promised, "We will buy it back". 


Who is Sugar Bee and why does she have a bakery?  Sugar Bee is the nickname of Carrie's daughter. 

Sugar Bee's Bakery opened in March 2012, the dream of its owner Carrie Chesto. Sugar Bee's is a small boutique style bakery located in the southwest part of Las Vegas. We offer 25 or so unique desserts and have retail days of Friday and Saturday (7:00am -5:00pm), special orders are accepted during the week for pickup.


Why is Sugar Bee's only OPEN two day? This way we can guaranty amazing taste, freshness and quality. There will never be a question of an item sitting in a refrigerator or display case for days. Items that don't sell are donated. With only being open two days, we can take the loss on items that don't sell and not try to resell them days later.
